Background: AITP currently has more than 300 student chapter members through a network of 25 student chapters at colleges and universities throughout our AITP Region 4 (Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri ). In addition, any interested prospective intern from the area Universities, Colleges and Technical Schools will be welcome.  The AITP student program, started in 1968, is designed for students planning careers in information systems or related fields. Complete professional development requires knowledge that goes beyond the classroom, especially with technology changing so rapidly. This event is designed to supplement traditional IT career development by its unique focus on Intern Programs. Students will meet the top IT industry representatives covering the latest industry trends - including the booming IT Defense contractor community at Offutt AFB. The keynote, the student intern competition, the exhibit area, and the countless networking opportunities with other IT students and professionals will make this a 'must attend' for years to come.
