AITP Omaha Scholarship 2008 Application Forms and Information
[Due date April 4, 2008]
Instructions for Applicants
Several scholarships of up to $1000 each are now available for the 2008/2009
academic year.
Each year, AITP Omaha provides scholastic scholarships to deserving students
who are either planning on attending or continuing to attend one of the
following:
* a 4-year college or university in Nebraska or western Iowa with the goal
of achieving an undergraduate degree in Information Systems or a related
field or
* a community college or technical school in Nebraska or western Iowa and
taking courses in Information Systems or a related field.
AITP Omaha or Lincoln chapter professional members, their spouses, or
children pursuing an education in Information Systems or a related field may
apply for a Scholarship for any school.
Scholarships are available in both categories. Applicants entering an
Information Systems program for the first time will be considered separately
from applicants continuing their education.
Applications are due April 4, 2008 and scholarships will be announced
at the May 15, 2008 AITP membership meeting.
Each applicant must submit the following:

Basic application form (Form A)

Two
recommendation forms (Form B) from former or current instructors or
faculty. [Applicants must
ensure that the recommendation forms have been submitted by their
instructor]

A current high school or college transcript

regular mail to the address below. Copies are acceptable.]
Application Form A and B are available as a PDF form
that can be completed electronically and then either emailed or sent via
regular email to the Omaha AITP.
We will notify you of receipt of the form within two working days of your
submission using the e-mail address you supply on the forms. A verification
e-mail address is required to accept the application online. We will notify
the applicant when the complete application has been received via the e-mail
address provided on the form.

copy back to you.]
Mail Your Application
Applications can be completed and either emailed or sent
via regular mail to AITP Scholarship Committee,

Application Kit
If none of the above work, you may request an application kit from AITP at
P.O. Box 583, Omaha, NE 68101.
You may also e-mail a request for
the application kit. Be sure to
include your address information.
All Applications are due by April 4, 2008.
